The 20 minute river-boat ride takes you to Iztuzu beach which is ideal for swimming and sunbathing, It is here that the endangered Loggerhead Turtle (Caretta Caretta) lay their eggs. Apart from the beauty and tranquillity of this wonderful place , the hospitality and friendliness of the local people is a joy to experience. The cuisine is varied and caters for all tastes. There are many restaurants, bars and shops but do not expect many discos and nightclubs ( there are one or two!) |
